Fearing a collision, Southwick South-wick drove close to the bank intending intend-ing to stop until the coming cars were passed. He drove too close to the bank and his machine tipped over and would have emptied Its occupants in the sweeping river had not a big strong tree, growing from the side of the road, held them and prevented the spilling of the passengers.
