Brit-ish Brit-ish troops are engaged in active op- IH erations along the Struma front on the right flank of the allied position at Saloniki but apparently are not mak-ing mak-ing any forward thrust in force in this region, according to today's war office announcement on the fighting in Macedonia which follows: "On the Struma front our railing detachments crossed the river and at-tacked at-tacked Dzami Maha and Komaja, cap-turing cap-turing some prisoners. Our mounted troops raided villages of the upper and lower Gudeli (in the lake Tahinos region). "On the Doiran front our artillery is maintaining a steady bombardment 11 of enemy positions." Rl "Many successful enterprises were carried out last night at various points on the rest of our front, our jH troops entering the enemy's trenches at many places inflicting casualties jH and taking prisoners. "According to fresh information, in fH addition to the nine German aviators fll brought down yesterday on the JH French front, six other enemy ma- chines were damaged in encounters with our pilots and were compelled to descend within their own lines. Two of the aviators were killed. jH "On Thursday night one of our squadrons dropped 106 bombs of large Wl caliber on the military establishments at Pont-Faverger and Bethiniville.
