CHILDREN 00T OF SCHOOL That there are 3200 children in Ogden Og-den between the ages of 6 and 18 years, who are not registered on the rolls of the city schools for the current cur-rent term, was the report made to the board of education by Director H. H. Henderson last night. Commenting Com-menting on the report, Mr. Henderson Hender-son said he would like to know what had become of the students who had graduated from the junior high schools last year and have not yet registered at the high school. He recommended that tho clerk compile a list of such students, together with the names- and addresses of the parents, par-ents, and supply a copy to Truant Officer Malan with ins'tructions to follow up the matter. When the list is made, according to the recommendation, recommen-dation, Officer Malan is to call on the parents and ascertain why their children are not In school. The recommendation was adopted by the board, together with one instructing in-structing the clerk to make a report on the comparative enrollment In the schools at the present time, with the |
