The installation was witnes- H . Bed by one of the largest gatherings H of lodge members of the year and, Hl 1 at its conclusion, the remainder of the HJ evening was given over to a social H I program, including a finely appointed H buffet luncheon. H . The installing officer was Thomas H Homer of Salt Lake, district deputy 1 y grand exalted ruler for the State of H Utah, and those upon whom the hon- H ors of office were conferred are as H i 'William C. Camp, Exalted rulex; H Charles W. White, leading knight; H G. W. Hoggan, loyal knight; George H Huss, lecturing night; William T. H Greenwdl, secretary; Frank E. Tribe, : H treasurer; Joseph Willett, itiler; HI James A. Howell, three-year-trustee; 1 Frank L. Chapln, unexpired term Hj trustee; Robert Hoggan, esquire; L. ' i J4, Healy, chaplain, and G. H. Packard, ' H Inner guard. t1 H .'Exalted Ruler Camp aod Secretary H Greenwell were unanimously re-elect- H ed to their positions at the election H held March. 17 and the other officers H have been among the most active H members of the lodge for a number of ' I morning and afternoon sessions and delivered an able address at the opening open-ing of the conference. Other speakers were Mrs. John T. Caine of Cache stako and Rulon S. Wells. The congregation con-gregation sang several numbers and Miss Romania Hyde played "Trau-merel." "Trau-merel." In her address of welcome Mrs. Wells said in part: "I welcomo you with all my heart and soul and all my strength of spirit to this gathering. There are many things for which we are to be thankful today, especially for peace when there is war all about us. We should pray continually for the maintaining ofl peace In this land. This is the greatest great-est day we have had yet. We have more responsibility than ever before and I hope we have more faith. The Relief society work ha6 Increased beyond be-yond expectations. It extends now to the Islands of tho sea and every place possible where women can meet and organize. Mrs. Caine responded to the greeting greet-ing of Mrs. WellB and reports of the work in the stakes were given by Mrs. Aggie H. Stevens of Weber, Mrs. Alice B. Woolley of Tooele, Mrs. Phoebe A Brough of Woodruff, Mrs. Minnie N. Robinson of the California mission and Mrs. Louise Benson of Oneida stake. The members of the ward board present were: Mrs. Emmellne -B. Wells, Mrs. Clarissa S. Williams, Mrs Julia L. Smith, Mrs. Amy Brown Lyman, Ly-man, MrB. Sysa Young GateB, Mrs Emma H.
