Show uu MI MORE CRAFT Sp BY GERMANS British Steamer, Norwegian Bark and Seven Trawlers Sent to Bottom All Crews Saved. London, Aug. 11, 3; 18 p. m. Tho sinking of nine more craft was announced an-nounced this afternoon. Thero were tho British steamer Oakwood, the Norwegian bark Morna and seven trawlers, tho Young Admiral and the George Crabbe, the Illustros, Calm, Treviere, Welcome and the Utopia. Tho crews of all the vessels were saved. The Oakwood was a steamer of 4279 tons gross, 360 feet long, 4S feet beam and 28 feet deep, was built in 1903. Sho was owned in London. The Morna sailed on March 2S from Portland, Ore., for the United Kingdom. She was of 1512 tons gross, was built in 1877 at Liverpool and was owned in Stavanger. oo |
