Show Chicago Grain Chicago, Aug. 11. Rapid harvesting under favorable conditions in the spring crop states caused declines today to-day In all deliveries of wheat, except September. That option was relatively rela-tively 'firm, on account of rains in parts of tho winter crop region and as a result of country offerings here being small. Tho September option went to a premium over December for the first time this season. Opening prices, which ranged from a shade to 5-S' lower, were followed by a moderate mod-erate rally that carried September above last night's level. r Corn showed firmness, the result of an expected falling off in receipts. There was no pressure to sell. After opening unchanged to l-8l-ic higher, high-er, the market tended to harden a little in addition, Delays to threshing gave strength to oats. Large7 houses were conspicuous conspic-uous on the buying side. N ""Packers' buying lifted provisions after a slow start The fact that 'hog receipts were smaller than -expected and that prices at the yards were higher for a while, had but little lit-tle effect. Hoof and mouth disease reported at Wyanett III., seemed to make the trade cautious. Dispatches telling of bumper yields of wheat In the northwest led afterward after-ward to a setback in prices all around, but later the market advanced advanc-ed sharply owing to reports that 'the French government had bought 100,-000 100,-000 barrels of flour at Minneapolis, and as a result of bullish estimates regarding re-garding the coming wheat crop. The closing was half to 1-4 l 7-8c net : $ higher ' Subsequently corn prices advanced !f with -wheat. The close was unsettled , 1 1-4 to 3-Sl-2c above last night. f f I Chicago, Aug. 11.
