Tho wounds of tho men were received re-ceived In a fight about 9.30 o'clock last night, at Twenty-fourth street and Washington avenue, in which all three and another man, J. H. Brooks, a salesman for the McCune-Foulger Shoe company, are alleged to havo been active participants. Officers Wooten and Manzel reached tho scene whllo tho 'battle was on and arrested' the first three mon, but Brooks made his getaway. Lessenger was taken to the hospital hospi-tal on the advice of a physician and Bywater and Morris "were locked up in the city Jail. |
