uu .SNOWFALL IS HEAVY ON RAILROAD LINES. Salt Lake, January 12. Heavy Hea-vy snowfall over the entire in-termountain in-termountain region is reported by the various railroad companies centering in Salt Lake. Along the Oregon Short Line in Idaho and Montana yesterday the storm was general and the temperatures tem-peratures low. The lowest recorded was at Silver Bow, Mont., where the thermometer registered 2G degrees below be-low zero. Traffic on tho main roads of the lines, except on the Western Pacific, was not seriously hampered by the storm. An unusually heavy snowfall, together with high winds, blocked the Feather River canyon on the Western Pacific and delayed traffic for about fifteen hours. Considerable trouble Tas experienced by tho Denver & Rio Grande and the Oregon Short Line on branches extending into the mountains, moun-tains, but the delays were not excessive.
