OCR Text	Show HARDWARE CONTRACT AWARDED ON MERIT TO OGDEN CONCERN The contract approximating $16,000 for the builders hardware for the Utah state capital was yeaterday awarded to the George A. Lowe Co., of this city. There Avere five bidders, tvvo of which were under the Lowe bid, but, no'twlthstanding this handicap, the GALCO people won out on merit. The George A. Lowe Is exclusive distributor for the intermountain country coun-try for the Russell & Erwin line of builders hardware, more commonly known in the hardware trade as the Russwln line. A few months ago the George A. Lowe Co. secured the contract for the bulldars' hardware for the Ecciles' building, approximating $6000. The Elks' club building recently erected in this city, and so widely known for its elaborate furnishings, was equipped equip-ped with Russwin emblematic hardware hard-ware by this concern.
