Show H. F. WARD IS TO SPEAK IN THISCITY Arrangements are being made by the Trades and Labor Assembly, the Ministerial Union and other organizations organiza-tions for a union social service mass meeting to be uddressed by the noted H F Ward, social service campaigner campaign-er and author of "The Social Creed." Mr Ward has made a life study of social problems, has specialized on the subject in two of our large universities, uni-versities, has spent years in social work In settlements and Institutional churches in Chicago, has made a trip around the world studying social problems prob-lems and ba6 written a number of books on social subjects. At present he Is secretary of the Methodist Fed eratlon for Social Service. The meeting that Is beinc aranged for Ogden Is an extra one. special and hurried arrangements having been made to have him stop as he passed through the city All organizations for social betterment have been urged to co-operate to make the meotiug a success. Mr. Ward will meet the ministers of the city around the dinner din-ner table Friday night, March 14, speak to the mass meeting at S p m. and meet the representatives of the various, churches, labor, charity and betterment organizations after the meeting.
