RUNAWAY SUNDAY engine pulling cars along washington avenue frightened a horse A runaway accident occurred sunday in which J V scott who h 78 years old and father in law of J H myers was painfully injured he being thrown from his carriage and badly bruised about the arms and head the aged gentleman had started from his home at the corner of washington avenue and seventh street with a horse and bugy intending to go to church and had proceeded but a chort distance ahen an engine being used by the ogden rapid transit company to haul cars along washington avenue appi cached scaring the animal which air scott was driving causing it to run away mr scott was thrown horn tho buggy into the road where he wan picked up in an unconscious condition and taken to his home the buggy aal gainess were almost completely wrecked 1
