THREW HERSELF FROM STORE WINDOW chicago nov 10 in view of hundreds of shoppers in state street miss fannic baines ot detroit alch jumped from a fifth story window ot one of the principal department stores today she was instantly killed sev atal people in the street bad narrow escapes from being by miss baines body miss baines on first entering the store walked to tha lace department and examined some goods she then proceeded toward the rue department but stopped at a settee close to the window suddenly ehe climbed to the ledge opened the window nd with a loud cream threw herself toward the pavement illness Is said to have caused the act
