MRS CHARLOTTE ETHERl rON SUCCUMBS TO BLOOD POIS mother of job pingree and of descendants was nearing century mark i from mondays standard in the death of sirs charlotte ethar ington sunday at the residence of her daughter airs c M cole of awen ty sixth street one of the earliest converts to the mormon faith and one ot the earliest settlers of state and county passed away at tho advanced age of 91 years 9 months and 4 days after a short illness resulting from a fall the deceased who was the mother ot job pingree president of the pingree national banh of this city wa born in england iff 1815 she joined tha church of latter day saints in her native land an fn emigrating to this country to years later coming to ogden and later settling in morgan valley where they remained until 1860 when they moved to ogden where she has resided since mrs had been married three times her first husband being job Ping iee iter second husband was samuel banford who died a few bears after their marriage and then she married john etherington she was the of 15 descendants ants including 3 sons 2 daughters 40 grandchildren great grandchildren grand children and 2 great great grand children several days ago the aged woman sustained an an fn chich she fractured her leg in spite of excellent medical treatment it refused to knit and blood poisoning ensued causing her death the funeral services will be held tuesday at 2 p m from the second ward meeting house and the remains may be viewed on the day ot the funeral at her daughters residence 20 twenty sixth street In tennent in ogden city cemetery hundreds of alvea saved every year by having dr thomas oil in the house lust when it is needed cures choup heals burns cuts wounds of every aart
