Show FAREWELL IS GIVEN THE ELDERS Kldors Lawrence Evans, Squire Tll-lotson Tll-lotson and Earl Folkman were guosts of honor at a farewell party given in the Weber academy last evening, under un-der the auspices of the Sixth ward elders' quorum The affair was complimentary to all who attended, but sevoral clever cartoons car-toons from tho jjen of Elder TllloLcon, placed before n small table in each corner or the hall, on which reposed a hat, coupled with a desire to assist the young men In a material way, drew from those assembled quite a neat little sum of money. Socially the parly was a splendid success and each "of the departing missionaries spoke appreciatively ,f the efforts of all who assisted In making it so pleasant for them before their departure Bishop Sanderson nlao gnve a brief address. The music was furnished bj a nine-piece nine-piece orchestra under the direction yi E. W. Nichols, and fruit punch' was served. There were about 300 persons present, pres-ent, Including the stake prestdeno and a number of guests from the county. The committee was as follows: John A. Allen, chairman; Ephraira.
