Show HIGH SCHOOL TEAM IS STRONG The Ogden High school football team was defeated by the All-Star team yesterday afternoon at Glcn-wood Glcn-wood park The score was 3 to 0. Although Al-though tho high school team played remarkably fast ball, the boyB could not withstand the greater weight and experience of the older team. The game was a remarkably clean one without injuries to either side. A feature of the game was the execution execu-tion of the forward pass by the High school. At one time Tackott for the High school threw a remarkably long pass when the ball was In All-Star territory, ter-ritory, and, but for a slight mis-judgmont mis-judgmont by the receiver, would have won a touchdown for the O H. S During the first quarter, tho Stars rushed the High school boys off their feet and carried the ball nearly to the goal lino Hero they were stopped and Captain Moran attempted a place kick but failed. Again, at the end of the second quarter, the Stars were on their way for a touchdown when the first half ended. Moran mado a place kick during tho second qunrtcr which won tho game. During the second half of the game, the tigers buckled down and held the Stars Tho ball moved up and down the field but never endangered the goal of either side. Mills. Fuller. Ruby. Farr and Tack ott were the stars for the High school. Every man on the All-Star team played ' a star game. Moran handled the team well at quarter. From the hard knocks they received tho Old Stars boliove that tho O. H. S. has a great team, and Bay that the boys will make a good showing against Salt Lake High school next Saturday. The practice they received yesterday aftornoon pointed out their weak points and they will have a well organized team beforo next Saturday.
