Dill, of Orlllia, D Ontario, suites that while ' tho 1911 H lumber cut in the Ottawa valley was very close to -150.000,000 feet, it was nearly 100,000,000 feet short of the cut in 1910. Low water, a shortage of men, and labor troubles are said to have contributed to this"Talllng off. It Is reported that tho outlook for 1912 is more nromisine than it seemed seem-ed earlier in the season, though the cut Is not expected to exceed the 1911 production by any material amounL |
