McFarland, insure H ance broker and promoter, charges BBB with grand larceny in having taken, H t is alleged, $10,000 from his fourth BBS wife, Ethel Groom, was begun in the BBS superior court today. H it was set out by the prosecution thai H McFarland, after roarying Miss Groorr H in Ogden in Jaunary, 1911, presented BBS her with $10,000 in bank notes, which Bfl was placed in a safoty deposit vault iSBfl in this city; that McFarland, after H tho court had vacated the annulment jBBfl of his third marriage, leaving him BBfl technically a bigamist, had prevailed Bfl upon Miss Groom to consent to an, jl annulment of their marriage until he BBfl could secure a divorco from his third BBfl wife, and that he had then removed BflB the $10,000 from the vault and gone BBfl back to live with his first wife. H McFarland was Indicted by the flBJ grand jury and arrested in Colorads jflB Springs. H |
