(Not only has Ogden H turned out nobly to enjoy the etcnts H programmed, but Salt Lake and even H far away Denver have contributed j their quotas to make tho thin? a sue- H ' The Salt Lake contingents, consist- H Ing of the Thistle and Caledonian so- H clctics are on the grounds nearly GOO j strong. They arc accompanied by a 1 corps of uniformed pipers and drum- H mers headed by Pipe Major Angus 1 Craig. His assistants arc .las Ham- H- ilton, Dan McPhee, William Stevens :'' of Clan Goidon corps, Denver, am! H Miss Jeanct McNeill Harris, Thos H Hamilton and Alex Adamson are the H) drummers. H The Ogden societies the Scottish Hl Cronies and Caledonians arc about H 1,000 strong and they aro all costum- , cd In the national "clnes" of tho High- m' lands, some of them the majority H proclaim their lowland origin, by H wearing "brecks" Instead of "kilts " H The Hollanders, Scandinavians, Jap- H- anesc, Walsh and otiier nations tak- H lug part in tho program are well rep- l.1 resented and are costumed in their respective national dross. B Special musical programs are being H rendered during tho pageants which H will close lato this evening by ban- H i quets given by the various societies on tho grounds. Tonight Dr. Aked will deliver a master talk on the "Strongest Man on Earth." The Salt Lake Cltyans and others who have not heard the omi-nent omi-nent scholar have signified their Intention In-tention of doing so this evening.
