PEDDLERS CALL OFF THEIR STRIKE Chicago, July 29 The peddlers have voted to call off the strike against the city ordinance which prohibits pro-hibits them from crying out their wares' The vote was taken ast night after the hundred who had jammed tho hal had listened to speeches counseling coun-seling peace, from Congressman A. J. Sabath and who sajd the decision affects af-fects approximately 1.500 peddlers. "The situation that confronts you," said Congressman Sabath, "is one that -vou can best cope with by creating creat-ing a public senWraont that will demand de-mand the council to repeal Its unfair and unjust anti-noise ordinance.
