vv RAILROAD OUTING AT LAGOON Two thousaud persons left Ogden today for Lacoon to attend the annual an-nual picnic given by the federated unions of the Harrlman system. The machinists' ball team and tho club composed of blacksmiths of the Southern South-ern Pacifific Bhops, carrying their implements im-plements of war, took an early train for the park and devoted some time this morning to practicing for the contest con-test of this afternoon Members of the shop committee, who are In charge of the gathering, say that a thousand persons will be at the park from Salt Lake Citv. A largo number of workmen and nheir .families from Pocatello arrived in Ogden this morning and accompanied the federation to Lagoon. Nearly all of the workmen were accompanied ac-companied to the park by their families fam-ilies and many baskets of food wore to be seen n tho crowds that loft the city At noon a train of five well-fllled coaches left for Lagoon. : no
