Show Utah School Has Officers' Training Camp. Agricultural College of Utah Designated Desig-nated aa Place Where Reserve Officers Will Be Trained. Tha undergraduate military training given by the Utah Agricultural College Col-lege In the past will be much more Intensive and far reaching In the future, fu-ture, flue to the establishment at the institution of a Reserve Officers' Training Corps. Naturally, all male studunts are expected to take military mili-tary training. Those who desire to obtain ob-tain the benefits offered by the Reserve Re-serve Officers' Training Corps, must continue their trulnlng through their , Junior and Senior Tears. All Btn-' dents who become members of the corps. It Is expected, will receive re-ceive their uniforms free. In addition, ad-dition, during the last two years at college, they will be furnished "commutation of subsistence" which amounts to about nine dollars a month. Upon graduation they will be eligible for appointment by the president of the United States as a reserve officer of-ficer of the army, and if so appointed, they may under certain conditions, be appointed and commissioned as a temporary second lieutenant in the regular army for a period of six months, with pay at the rate of one hundred dollars a month, with the usual allows mres. r |
