BASE BALL IN MILFORD WHILE their efforts have been unsuccessful un-successful from a financial point of view this season, we believe that the Base Ball Association has unselfishly endeavored to do something good for -the community in promoting the various vari-ous games. The business men who have backed these efforts deserve commendation commen-dation for their spirit and they also deserve de-serve better support. .Though it seems to us that there is little use to go further fur-ther "into the hole" in this endeavor. There is no reason to believe that any future efforts in base balfthis season will be any better supported. The News very gladly donates all the printing thus far for the season and wipes the-account the-account off the books: Nowr let's ' try something else upon which to unite the community interest. .
