Show RED CROSS HOLDS ANNUAL ELECTION A splendid audience representing the commercial, religious, professional, profess-ional, educational and social interests inter-ests of Milford assembled at the : Opera House Monday night to elect officers for the Milford Chapter of the American Red Cross for the ensuing en-suing year. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dr. Hunter. The opening number was an instrumental in-strumental duet violin, Miss Mel-drum; Mel-drum; piano, Mr. Morris. Second number, an address by Dr. Hunter. Third number, a patriotic song by Miss Schow. The routine of business was then taken up and balloting for election of officers resulted as follows: Chairman, Dr. H. C. Hunter 1st Vice-Chr., Mrs. Allen Hedges 2d Vice-Chr., Mrs. James Glenn i Treasurer, Cameron Arrington Secretary, Mrs. Julia A. Smithson. There are 112 members enrolled, including people from all parts ot the county, and from the general good spirit and patriotism manifested manifest-ed we shall assume that the "Milford Chapter A. R.
