Show o WHAT FORD TOLD THE GOURMETS There is a famous Ford whose name is not Henry. He hails from England, is a famous writer and editor. His name ia Ford Madox Ford. That's two fords for one man. The other day he was addressing New York's Gourmet society and said, "People cannot be amiable with their fellows if they are not properly fed." What is a gourmet? The dictionary says he is a "connoisseur "con-noisseur of table delicacies." In the light of what Ford told the gourmets, we now know why they always feed you before starting a community drive for funds. They want you in an amiable mood. |
