Show Milford People Enjoy Easter Pageant at Zion Some 25 or 30 Milford people made the trip to Zion park Sunday to witness the Easter pageant presented pre-sented under the auspices of the Bianch Agricultural college and the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce. Com-merce. The pageant was written and directed by Grant Redford, new head of the dramatics department depart-ment at the college, and he also took the leading role of the Christus. Despite snow and rain (with ten ii ches of the former at Parowan that morning) nothing was permitted per-mitted to interfere with the pageant, pag-eant, which was a success in every way. The storms no doubt cut the attendance down two-thirds or more from what it would have been with good weather, but the three or four thousand who witnessed the presentation felt more than repaid for the trip and are hoping that it will be made an annual event. |
