Show BEAVER Mildred Lindsay, a B A. C. student spent the week-end. at homte with friends and relatives. Chloe and Neil Boyter, Douglas Robinson of Beaver and Virgia Kil-lam Kil-lam of Milford spent a few days in Salt Lake last week. ' Miss Lola White is spending the week at home with friends and relatives. re-latives. Lola has been working in Salt Lake for the past eight months. Stan A'tkin has returned home after af-ter working in Pioche, Nevada for two weeks. Harley Fotheringham of Park City is visiting with his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Liz-zie Fotheringham. H. A. Christiansen made a trip to Salt Lake Friday and went on to Og-den Og-den to see his small son who is attending at-tending school there. George Anderson was announced winner in the American Legion public pub-lic speaking contest during the Washington program Monday and received the medal. , Frank Stoddard has returned home from Pioche, Nevada. After having been closed since early ear-ly December, the Lyric Theatre opened op-ened again with a show for Monday and Tuesday nights. H .E. Diehl who has been ill for the past two weeks is improving slowly. C. D. White has rallied and seems to be as well as usual now. His condition con-dition doesn't alter very much. Mr. and Mrs. Ruelon Williams are employed at St. George for the telephone tele-phone company a couple of weeks. J. W, Jones of Salt Lake E. H. Welch of Ogden and their stenographer, stenogra-pher, Miss Joy Seegmiller of Richfield Rich-field are here to take charge of the Beaver State Bank. Miss Mildred Tuggle left Wednesday Wednes-day for a visit with home folks at Park City. Maurine Christiansen and Odessa Baldwin were over from the B. A. C. last week end. The "M" Men district basket ball game was played in Beaver Tuesday night between Meadow and Kanosh. Meadow winning with a score of 19-23. 19-23. Meadow plays with the winners of the St. George division Saturday night at Cedar City. Winners of the Cedar game and of the Richfield game will play in Beaver on March 5. |
