Show FAMILY SNOWED-IN SINCE CHRISTMAS AT PANGUITCH LAKE A party of men consisting of Wm. Hurst, Leland Heywood, Tom C. Haycock, and Fred Seamen left Wednesday Wed-nesday morning with eight head of horses and a sleigh for Panguitch lake to rescue a family named Nichols, Nich-ols, who have been marooned at that place since Christmas, on account of deep snow. Word was received over the telephone tele-phone that the party had got as far as Sevy's ranch that night and would remain there until the next day, and that they would not attempt to take the sleigh further. They stated that the snow is twenty-eight inches at the ranch, and it is reported that there is a depth of four feet at the lake. Garfield County News. |
