Show MANTI RESIDENT DIES SUDDENLY IN MILFORD Ebbe Jessen, of Manti, arrived in Milford Wednesday of last week on his way to Beaver, where he expected to take charge of Tom Gunn's sheep at Beaver. However, soon after his arrival in Milford he was suddenly taken seriously ill and was taken to the hospital. An emergency operation opera-tion for intestinal touble was performed per-formed immediately, but the patient died the following morning. His wife, and two daughters, Mrs. Carl Anderson, of Salina, and Mrs. Bay Childs, of Gunnison, accompanied accompan-ied by Mr. Anderson, were sent for and were here at the time of his death. While in Milford they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Carlson, Carl-son, former friends of the Jessen) family. Mr. Jessen was about sixty years of age. Besides the wife, he leaves two sons and four daughters. The remains were taken to the family home in Manti Saturday and the funeral fun-eral services were held at that place Tuesday. |
