Mr. and Mrs. William Sterling, of Caliente, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. William Cochrane in this city. C. E. Valentine, of the Ryan Fruit Co., of Salt Lake City was doing business here on Tuesday. Mrs. Harry Yeager was confined to her home with the flu this past week. Grant Tolton and Cliff McShane of Beaver were transacting business in Miiford Tuesday. Mrs. Merril Miller and son Walter spent a few days at the C. F. Decker home. Mr. and Mrs. Dawson left Sunday for Salt Lake City where Mr. Dawson will receive medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Art Drake, of Min-ersville Min-ersville were in town shopping Tuesday, Tues-day, v C. T. Martin accompanied by Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham left Monday via. auto for a brief visit with their children at Salt Lake City. Mrs. E. A. Mathews and son left Tuesday for Lynndyl to make their home. Mr. Mathews is switchman on the U. P. railroad. County Clerk William A. Miller, spent Washington's birthday in Mil-ford Mil-ford with his daughter and old friends. Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. C. F. Decker went to Las Vegas, Nevada, to attend at-tend the Elks celebration at Boulder Dam, February 21 and 22. Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Davis and daughter; Aletha Bennett, and Ray Murdck were Beaver visitors in Mil-ford Mil-ford Tuesday. Mrs. James Mastros and children have gone to Blackrock to join Mr. Mastros who is section foreman at that place. Sam Hickman and family of Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Idaho are here visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hickman. Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton returned re-turned Tuesday morning from Salt Lake City where they had been visiting vis-iting their son and family for a few clays. Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Schow, who are residing at present in Provo, .came down Saturday for a few days' visit with their children and friends. They returned to Provo Wednesday morning. morn-ing. Miss Edna Russell, teacher in the Beaver high school, and Mart Barton, of Greenville, each received traffic tags Saturday for incorrect parking of their cars on Main street, and were assessed fines by Judge Nichols. .T. N. Brunker, who spent several weeks here in closing up the business pertaining to the transfer of the At-kin At-kin Hotel, left Thursday for SaUt Lake City. Mr. Brunker made many friends during his stay here and stated stat-ed that he found Miiford a most hospital hos-pital town and enjoyed being here. 1 a. A |
