Show i ADAMSVILLE Victor Littlefield was in Miners- ville Sunday afternoon visiting at the home of John M. Griffiths. Earl Sly who has employment at Milford spent Saturday night with his parents at Manderfield and stopped stop-ped at Aberdare on his way. Rhoda Stewart of Milford, Viola Gillins of Minersville and Mrs. Marie Ward of Beaver were in Adamsville Saturday afternoon. i A candy pull was given for Donald Eyre Tuesday night, on his 12th I birthday. Fourteen young boys and girls were present. The evening was spent eating candy and playing games. I Mrs. John Gunn attended a ladies club luncheon Wednesday night in Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Baldwin and small son, also Mrs. Thelma Johnson and son Joe, and Rube Joseph motored motor-ed to Milford Thursday. A surprise party was given for Mrs. Dorothy Puffer at her home. j Wednesday night seven couples were entertained. A hot midnight luncheon was served. All had a very enjoyable time together. Some Beaver Beav-er guests were at the party also. I Martel Denny and family were spending a few hours on Aberdare ! Friday. Mr .and Mrs. Jack Idle of Beaver were here Sunday. Byron Hanson of Beaver was a visitor at the home of Mrs. David Jones the latter part of the week. Harley Fotheringham, his mother and sister all of Beaver passed through Adamsville Wednesday evening. Thomas Stewart of Milford, a cousin cou-sin of young Albert Stewart was visiting vis-iting here at the Will Stewart ranch for a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Thad Baldwin of Manderfield, mother and father 'of Loyal Baldwin were visiting on Aberdare Ab-erdare Sunday. Mrs. Frances .Gray and baby of Minersville motored through Adamsville Adams-ville the later part of the week en-route en-route to Beaver. Miss Jane Johnson of Salt Lake City is here visiting with her brother Wilford and family. . |
