Show LIONS OF CO. HOLD JOINT SESSION In the interest of greater harmony and more efficient service to the county, the members of the Beaver and Milford Lions clubs held a joint luncheon at Beaver last week which proved most interesting and pleasurable. pleasur-able. On Friday evening the Milford Lions journeyed to Beaver where a get-to-gether meeting and luncheon was enjoyed at the Low Cafe. The meeting was a very enjoyable affair, and many matters of common interest to the two towns and southern south-ern Utah as a whole were discussed. ; At the Beaver luncheon members of the Milford club agreed to lend their support and cooperation in the matter mat-ter of urging that the August meeting meet-ing of the Associated Civic clubs of Southern Utah be held in Beaver. A similar meeting was held in Milford Mil-ford last night, at which time the Beaver Lions were treated to a swim in the Milford plunge, and entertained entertain-ed at a banquet at the U. P. dining room. . |
