Show BEAVER JUNIORS L0SET0IW0RD Milford Jr., baseball team defeated Beaver, Jr., team 16 to 15 at Milford last Thursday afternoon. Beaver had a 9 point lead at one time but Milford overcame this and won in the 9th with one down. The first triple play seen in Milford Mil-ford in a good many seasons was executed exe-cuted by Milford, Meyers at short stop took a line drive and played the ball to Easton to Gilbert catching the runners off second snd first, Milford also made two double plays and Beaver one. This was the first game for both teams and although the playing was a little ragged in the outfields, both teams played good in the infield and both managers substituted frequently to build up a stronger outfield. The managers of both teams are entitled to a lot of credit for their work as they are building up some good players play-ers for both towns and also keeping a lot of boys out of michief. The Milford lineup is not yet permanent per-manent as a lot of other boys will be tried out and those who did not play in this game need not be discouraged as Manager Lawrence Easton is giving giv-ing them all a chance at the team.
