Show MILFORDITES FLOCK TO BEAVER CANYON ON WEEK-END TRIPS Many Seek Nearby Mountains Foe Fishing and Recreational Enjoyment Many Milford people are answering answer-ing the call of the Beaver canyon with its cooling atmosphere, shaddy dells and trout lakes and streams. Last Sunday more from Milford were seen 'in the canyon and at Puffer Lake than from any other valley towns. Picnic and fishing parties were scattered from the lower camp ground in the canyon all the way to the lake, and Milford residents were very much in evidence. The river and lake continue to rise from the melting melt-ing snows in the higher mountains and fishing was not as good as on the opening days, but the cool breeze and fresh vqrdane 'grass covered parks through the canyon made picnicking most delightful. With the roads in splendid condition condi-tion it) is only an hour's drive from Milford to the canyon, and more and more people are availing themselves of this week-end pleasure each year. n . |
