Show o DON'T BE A "DESERTER'' You wouldn't think very much of the soldier who would desist de-sist his comrades on the field of battle, would you? You are guilty of an offense just as grave as that if you desert de-sert your neighbors right now when they need you the most. By deserting them, we mean taking your dollars to a city or forwarding them to a mail order house, in payment for the very thing you can get here at home or that a home merchant can ,i'l for you. By deserting we mean tightening up to the point where you are not making the payments you are in position to make on accounts now overdue. If your dollar ever was needed here in your home town it is RIGHT NOW. Spend it in the community and it will stay in the community. Spend it elsewhere and it is one dollar lifted from circulation 'here, with no chance of your getting it back again. Spent here it goes in a circle and helps to pay bill after bill. It eventually gets back to you, either in payment for what you produce, pro-duce, for your labor, or in a lowered price on what you consume, since it helps ;the retailer buy for cash, thus making low retail prices possible. As your neighbors and your friends we join in urging you NOT to Desert the Beaver County. If we will stick together, snond our dollars here at home; pay our bills promptly, or make more regular payments on them BUSINESS SKIES WILL SOON P.K CLEARED OF EVERY CLOUD. If we spend them elsewhere else-where we will, just that much longer, find the struggle harder. DON'T BE A DESERTER NOW THAT YOUR HOME TOWN NEEDS YOU MOST SET YOUR NEIGHBOR A GOOD EXAMPLE SPEND YOUR DOLLARS IN BEAVER COUNTY. n ! |
