S. hospital for treat-" ment, returned last Saturday but is unable to work at present. Mrs. L. A. Lewis is leaving next week for Kingman, Arizona, to make her home. Mr. Lewis will join her after the first of May. Both at present pre-sent are employed at the U. P. lunch room. Miss Marian Easton and Miss Pauline Paul-ine Banks are both employed at the lunch room. Congratulations are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Grimshaw, who were married last week. Mr. Grim,shaw has been employed in the U. P. shops for several years. Their many friends wish them much success suc-cess and happiness. Mrs. Otto Steenbock, wife of Engineer En-gineer Steenbock, who is in Los Angeles An-geles for medical treatment, is reported re-ported improving. Our old friend. Dr. H. C. Hunter, who has been in the Los Angeles-hospital Angeles-hospital and underwent a serious operation, op-eration, is at present much improved. improv-ed. Mrs. Gus Ford, who has been employed em-ployed at the Union Pacific lunch room, resigned after five months' service. Mrs. Ford will be greatly missed by her Union. Pacific friends. Fireman Boucher and wife made a trip to California recently. Brakeman Frazier has returned after a few days' visit to Salt Lake City. Delgardo's to Zion Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Delgardo, now managing the Union Pacific lunch room, will leave here April 20th. After Af-ter a few days of vacation, they will go to Zion National Park, where, on May 1, Mr. Delgardo will take over the management of the hotel and dining room department in the park for the tourist season. A beautiful cedar chest was pre; sented to Mrs. Delgardo by the employees em-ployees as a token o appreciation from her associates. Last Monday evening a birthday dinner was given in the Union Pacific Paci-fic dining room in honor of Mrs. Katherine Lewis who is to leave soon for Arizona. |
