Merchants "Stung" On 'Fake" Advertising Deal Mr. Arthur Joseph of the Parowan Mercantile Co. is summoned in to court in Salt Lake City in a suit growing out of a contract for advertising adver-tising in the picture show. It seems that some oily tongued brother called on our business houses a year or so ago and signed several of them up on an advertising film service to be run according to specifications in the local loc-al show house, and to be paid for installments in-stallments for which notes were given. giv-en. . ' ri '4 The film company sold the notes and then proceeded to go broke or changed hands or something and never come anywhere near complying comply-ing with their part of the contract, but the purchasers of the notes are suing for collection. What the outcome out-come will be is only conjectural. The other concerns will probably be sued in the same manner. Parowan Times.
