Show FASHION SHOW VERY SUCCESSFUL 1 The Fashion Show sponsored by the B. P. W. club proved to be a good success. Two of the local business houses modeled some of the latest creations in ladies clothes. The Progressive Clothes shop displayed dis-played some beautiful dresses which were worn by Lola Morris, Lillian Carter and Teon Gillins. Many attractive dresses and outfits out-fits were shown by the Toggery. The models were, Bessie Killam, Loretta Murdock, Honora Hutchings, and Ellen El-len Ellingsworth. The vaudeville was enjoyed by all who attended the show. It consisted of a selection from the Milford Orchestra, Or-chestra, a Coon Dialogue by Ferrin Frazier, Melvin Bowman, and Marion Mar-ion Bowman, a song by Catherine Bradfield and Virgia Killam, a string selection by Tom Schow and Mr. Fortie, For-tie, a tap dance by Carol Smith, Marie Mar-ie Gillies, Marjorie Young, and Margaret Mar-garet Hanley, a song and dance by Catherine and Virgia, and a vocal solo by Mrs. Helena McGarry. The picture "The Laughing Lady" was also well liked by all. |
