Show SOCIETY Miss Jean Bennett entertained at "Five Hundred" Thursday evening. Those present were Leah Richards, Reva Mattingly, Gladys Coleman, Honora Hutchings, Eva Coleman and Bessie Killam. The hostess was assisted as-sisted by her aunt, Mrs. Otto Steen-bock. Steen-bock. The concluding meeting of the Mil-ford Mil-ford Y. L. M. I. A. was held Tuesday night. The evening was filled with enjoyable entertainment consisting of a program and dance. Lunch was served and everyone present fully enjoyed en-joyed the party. Mrs. D. E. Kirk delightfully entertained enter-tained at Bridge last Friday night. The guests were Mesdames Joe Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Myron Lewis, Spencer Schow, J. C. Smith, Al Kirk, Ross Palmer, Vorhees and Hoagland, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Lewis won high score, Mrs. Murdock, second, and Mrs. Schow consolation. Mrs. Vorhees was awarded the guest prize. '''Miss Bernice Outzen delightfully entertained a few of her schoolmates at cards Friday evening. Those present pres-ent were Audrey Rains, Stella Hollis, MKijorie White, Afton Adams, Clyde Griffiths, Norman Andrews, Sherman Hickman, Harold Parsons and Leon Jones. The evening was spent playing play-ing games and "500," after which delicious refreshments were served. The hostess was assisted by her mother. 1 Mrs. W. A. Miller entertained the Stitchletic club Monday night. Those present were Mesdames Bert Tait, Morgan Griffiths, William Morris, Henry Bowman, Miss Mary Richards and two invited guests, Mrs. Yepson and Mrs. Banks, daughter of Mrs. Bowman. The evening was spent sewinjr. Kappa-Star Club, together with Rev. Homer Root, enjoyed Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon and evening in the Mrs. J. M. Williams entertained at Bridge Monday night the following club members: Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. Hendrickson, Mrs. A. E. Smith, Mrs. F. R. Levi, Mrs. Fortie, Mrs. Cochrane, Coch-rane, Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham. and guest, Mrs. Churchill. Prizes for points, Mrs. Fortie, honors, Mrs. Levi. A tasty luncheon was served at mid-night. mountains. Entertainment was afforded af-forded by means of a club trackmeet and varied games. An abundance of root-beer was furnished by Mrs. Ralph Lemon. The boys present included in-cluded Roy Coleman, Donald Moore, Brunell Outzen, Aldon Johnson, Dave Coleman, Warren Ferguson, Dean Johansen, Larry Lemon, and Walter Weigner. Mrs. John Hanlon entertained the G. I. A. at Bridge Wednesday evening even-ing at her home in honor of the following fol-lowing members: Mrs. W. G. White, Mrs. Otto Steenbock, Mrs. C. O. i Sportsman, Mrs. J. C. Jefferies, Mrs. i A. E. Smith, Mrs. Wm. Dawson and j Mrs. Killam. Prizes for points, Mrs. ; Jefferies, honors, Mrs. Dawson. Very dainty lunch was served at 11:30. |
