Show FILLMORE. Dr. E. E. Hinckley, a former resident resi-dent of Fillmore was visiting friends and relatives liiHt week. lie recently returned from Europe where ho had been specializing In diseases of the eye, ear, nose and throat. I to Is located lo-cated permanently at Salt Lake City. Members of the Millard Stake Academy Faculty occupied the time at the religious services In the Chapel Sunday. I'roressors C'luff and Hurley spoko along the lines of education, and of the opportunities afforded the young people who desire an education. Mrs. (lurley rendered two vocal selections, which was very much enjoyed hy those present. The Editor of the Chronicle was a visitor during the Fulr, and no doubt will have something to say regarding his observations. Mrs. Leon Peterson and Mrs. Edna Nelson of Idaho are here to spend the winter. The County Hoad Commissioner John Jl. Bennett has twenty teams at work constructing the State road between be-tween Fillmore and lloldenk Going south, the road will run through the main street of Fillmore, and on to Meadow, and we are praying that the money set apart for the purpose of road making will hold out like the proverbial widow's meal. |
