Show ! MEADOW MISCELLANY LA. Cult, Chronkle Reproentatlvt Our dajr school opened last Monday with a good atendance of pupils. We have three efficient teachers, Alma N. Bfckstrand, principal. A. Ezra Gull, Intermediate, and Miss Lee of Cedar City, the primary. Last week a number of louds of pipe were brought over from Oasis and distributed along our pipe line. The rest will be brought this week. We hope soon to have a good drink of the pure mountain water. There has been lots of fruit raised here this year aud an excellent crop of lucern seed. A number of our people attended tl.e late M. I. Convention at Leamington Leam-ington and on their return reported having had a good time and it being ti e best convention ever held. We are glad to report that Daniel D. and Lottie Hushnell, after a long s Ige of sickness are well and able to Ik out again. ' The labors of Lottie have been greatly missed as she was a faithful worker in the Ward. .William Ilond Jr of Smith. I'tah, haa been in town for a few days and left Monday for Mantl, where he has taken his father William Bond, Sen., to do' Temple work. Mr. Ernest Ottley of Delta la here vl-dtiug, with his sister Mrs. George I. Siott. Last Sunday evening a large crowd teutbk'd at the Ward nieelrig house were highly entertained and Interested In-terested with speaking and singing by Prof. Benjamin dull and Company, Mr. and Mrs. Gourley of the M. S. Academy. |
