Anyone with a stand of alfalfa Is always sure of seed which is very valuable. Next month will be the time for duck hunting and fishing. We have two fine lakes for this game and many people enjoy themselves at these lakes In the fall of the year. One lake Is six miles went and the other Is eight miles east of town. Everyone Is invited to come and get their share before It Is too late. CLEAR LAKE. H. V. Adams, Chronicle Representative Mr. Dresser, our editor, was a visitor at the hotel Sunday night. He was on his way back from the Millard County Fair. Mr. II. J. Bond has put up three fine crops of hay this year. Mr. H. V. Adams was over at Fillmore, Fill-more, Meadow, Kanosh and Hatton last week with a petition asking that the mail route do-s not change from Clear Lake. Miss Louise Duncan from Meadow has come over to work at the hotel. There has been lots of freight un- I loaded at the Station for the towns ii n the east side z'. the county. There are teams here every few Jays after building material which has iiem shipped here for the High School building at Fillmore. I Mr. Lawrence Ilarkdull and Charlie ' k'an Hoozer have had Mr. Geo. Davis 1 lelping them put up a bouse on some fery valuable land a few miles south . f here. Mr. John has built a nice home a ulle or so west of town.
