EARTHUQAKE IN ECUADOR. Walls of Number of Residences Collapse Col-lapse and Panic Prevails. - Guayaquil, Ecuador. Four earthquakes earth-quakes on Sunday did serious damage at Rlobamha, the capital of Chlmbo-azo Chlmbo-azo province, which lies about eighty-five miles from Guayaquil. The shocks continued throughout the day. but with diminishing Intensity. At the first shock a great panic prevailed pre-vailed among the people. Many buildings were shaken badly and sev eral collapsed. The occupants of most of the houses fled to the streets, j where they have since remained. At Gusranda, capital of Bolivar province, twenty-live miles from Rio bamba, the shocks were heavy. The walls of a number of residences co'-lapsed. co'-lapsed. The seismic disturbances are attributed to the Tunguragua volcano in thesouthern part of the province , of the same name.
