Show Delta Art Club Has No - Hostess Party The Delta Art club had n no-hostess no-hostess party on Thursday night, at the home of Mrs. Amy Huffine, with half the club members entertaining enter-taining the club. The committee was Mrs. Huffine, Loa Black, Romania Ro-mania Bird, Amelia Cole, Athena Cook and Calie Morrison. Other club memobrs there were Liz Pace, Wanda Pace, Vernn Wnlch, and Etta Underbill, and guests for the evening were Callie Morley, and Nell Callister. Dinner was served and bridge played during the evening. eve-ning. High scores were held by Mrs. Cole nnd Mrs. Cook, and Mrs. Morley held low. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Peterson and two children, from Salt Lake City, spent the first of the week in Delta visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Beckwith. Robert Stephenson arrived in Delta Wednesday, January 23, for a visit here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stephensen. Bob served as a sergeant during the war, and was discharged recently. He left this week to go to San Francisco, where he has employment. employ-ment. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wind made a trip to Salt Lake City this week. Mrs. William Conk left for Salt Lake City Wednesday morning, to visit her son, Henry, who is in St. Mark's hospital there recovering from an operation. |
