Show Delta Will Play Hinckley Friday Wins from Milf ord Delta advanced another step toward to-ward the league pennant this past week when she won over Milford by a score of 46 to 30. This is Delta's Del-ta's third straight win in league play. The two Fullmers, D Ray and Glen along with Rey Knight ran up large point totals during the game. Glen was credited with 15 poins, D Ray 14 and Rey 12. Carter scored 11 points for Milford. Delta still stands at the head of the league followed closely by Hinckley, whom she will play on this Friday night. Beaver surprised the Millard Eagles by trouncing them 42 to 24. Hinckley drew a bye and played Lincoln in a non-league game. The traditional rivals, Hinckley and Delta, will meet Friday night in the Big hall in Delta for their first league encounter of the season. sea-son. HINCKLEY-BEAVER GAME The Hinckley high school will play the Beaver team again on Feb. 13 at Fillmore. This game is to be played as a result of a decision made by the Regional Board of Athletics at a meeting held in Beaver on Jan. 28 which was "that the game played at Beaver on Jan. 11 between Hinckley Hin-ckley and Beaver shall be played over on a neutral floor. On Feb. 15 Beaver and Hinckley will play at the Hinckley high. |
