Show Deseret . . . Arprilla Scow ' Beverly and Carolyn Christensen have siient the past three weeks in Nebraska visiting with M-S Parley Par-ley Hales. M-S Martell Mace and daughter from Las Vegas, Nevada, spent the weekend at 'the home of MarteH's parents, M-S James Mace. Miss Genevieve Eliason, who is attending summer school at the B YU, spent the weekend visiting her parents, M-S E. J. Eliason. M-S E. R. Moody and family of Tooele visited several days at Deseret Des-eret with relatives. Deseret Rook Club held their meeting Wednesday at the home of Luella Western. A dinner was served with the main course being 'waffles. The rest of the evening was enjoyed by playing Rook. Those present were Evelyn Cropper, Carol Warnick, Lucille Sampson, I Beth Moody, Lillian Pippin, Arpril-i Arpril-i la Scow, Grayce Pace and Luella western. M-S Lowell Moody and family from Salt Lake City viited last week in Deseret with relatives and friends. M-S Leslie Bennett were Deseret visitors Saturday. Mrs. Orin F. Allred and daughter are visiting at the home of M-S T. B. Allred. Mrs. Dave Moffitt from Salt Lake City is visiting witb her parents, M-S J. M. Webb. A farewell party will be held at the Deseret Ward Hall on Thursday, Thurs-day, June 28 for Melvin Warner, who is leaving for the U. S. Service. A good program and a dance have been arranged. Everyone is invited. Mrs. Norma Hansen and children from Fillmore spent Sunday with her parenls, M-S Elmer Dewsnup. Colleen Moody is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Farnsworth in Salt Lake City. Neva Cropper has returned iome after having spent several days in Salt Lake City. |
