Show Lucile Damron Baker Dies After Short Illness Mrs. Lucile Damron Baker, wife of Myron H. Baker, 1080 11th East, died Thursday in New Orleans after aft-er a very brief illness. Born December 1, 1998 in Kanosh, Millard County, a daughter of Joseph Jos-eph W. and Mary A. Damron, she had res.ded in Salt Lake City most of her life with the exception of her childhood, which was spent in Deseret. She attended the Millard Academy, and the University of Utah, and taught school several years. I. The past few years Mrs. Baker was prominent in business circles , in Salt Lake City, and last year served as president of the Women's Credit Association. She is 'survived by her husband, parents; a son, First Lieutenant Joseph L. Peterson, a pilot in the Army Air Force, now in the Philippines; Philip-pines; a stepson, Corp. Alan Baker, stationed in England; two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Shirley Butler, Gainesville, Gaines-ville, Texas; and Mary L. Baker, Salt Lake City; four sisters, Mrs. Norma Wright, Delta; Mrs. Marian Cropper, and Virgilia Thompson, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Ruth L. Dorius, Arlington, Va. Funeral services will be held at the Larkin Mortuary, Friday at noon. |
