Show ' i Chronicle Will Commence 36ih YTear oi Publication on July ith On July 4th, the Chronicle is 35 years old. The paper was 1 founded by Norman B. Dresser on July 4, 1910. The present management has owned and operated it since 1919. The task has been a pleasant one, with much satisfaction in writing both news and editorially. Reader support has been good, for which we thank the public. Many events have happened hap-pened in thirty-five years, but the basic fact to hold firmly is, constantly our little town has advanced, grown more and more f modern, and its inhabitants enjoying a constantly greater de-1 de-1 gree of prosperity. The future looks sound for a continuance. t i j We are going to print the paper on July 4th, which will ena- s ble us to get it into the mails as usual on Thursday... But as ' Wednesday is a holiday, we ask all of our correspondents to get their material to us a day early. |
