A program was given and refreshments se v-ed v-ed to over 80. Each mother was given a corsage. M-S Ervin Fowles and family of Salt Lake City are spending this week here looking after their farm. Morgan May went to Salt Lake City last week after his children and wife. They returned home Sunday, Sun-day, and are improving nicely. Darwon Barney USN, came home Sunday and surprised his parents, ; M-S Pat Barney. Mrs. George Corry entertained at her home Monday evening in ; honor of her daughter Dorothy's 11th birthday. Games were played and refreshments served to 22 children. The Triple S Sewing Club met at the home of Louise Skidmore Sunday Sun-day afternoon to check their work ' in preparation for the fair. Mem- ' bers present were Beryl Anderson, Donna Christensen, Beth Bunker, ' and Louise Skidmore, and their ' leader, Mrs. Vera Paxman. Mrs. Bernard Jackson entertained ' the As You Like It Club at her home Thursday evening. ' The 4-H Thimble Club met at the home of their leader, Miss ' Dorothy Sanford, Monday afternoon after-noon to complete their work for the fair. Miss Elaine Sorensen entertained ' at a swimming party Tuesday evening. eve-ning. After the girls had enjoyed 1 a good swim, they went to Elaine's J home and played games.
