Wood, Receiver for Amassa Gold Mining Company, has filed his "Second and Final Account of Receiver and Petition for Settlement" Settle-ment" and also his "Petition for Order to Distribute Money in the Hands of Receiver" to the stockholders stock-holders entitled thereto and to all persons entitled to the same; NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the 5lh day of September, 1944, at the hour of two o'clock P. M. of said day, and the Court Room of the County Courthouse in the City of Fillmore, County of Millard, State of Utah, is the time and the place set for the hearing of said petitions; when and where all persons interested my appear and show cause why the said petitions peti-tions and the account and the relief re-lief prayed for therein should not be granted. Elwood Lambert, Clerk of the District Court NOTICE OF INTENTION WHITE WAY ORNAMENTAL LIGTHING SYSTEM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELTA, UTAH, INTENDS TO IMPROVE CERTAIN STREETS IN SAID DELTA, UTAH, AND T O LEVY A TAX THEREFOR ON THE PROPERTY BENEFITTED THEREBY, THERE-BY, ALL AS HEREINAFTER SPECIFIED, SPEC-IFIED, TO-WIT: 1. The nature of the improvement improve-ment to be made is to provide foi lighting that portion of Clark Street Str-eet in Delta, Utah, between 1st West Street and 4th West Street and that portion of 3rd West Street Str-eet in said Delta, Utah, between Clark Street and 1st North Street by means of a whiteway ornamental ornamen-tal street lighting system owned by, and installed at the expense of, the contractor providing electric elec-tric energy for the operation thereof, there-of, and consisting of 21-10,000 lumen lu-men series incandescent electric lights carried on ornamental street lighting standards, and by making provision for the patrolling, maintenance, main-tenance, and operation of such system sys-tem and the supplying of electric energy thereto for a period of ter years, all substantially as described describ-ed in, and in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor there-for on file in the office of the Citj Engineer of Delta, Utah. 2. The district benefitted by sue! improvement, which has been designated des-ignated by said City Council a; Lighting District No. 1, consisits o all of the hereinafter describee property abutting upon the above described portions of the streets tc be improved by lighting the same as aforesaid, to-wit: All of Lots 3 to 8, inc., in Blocl 52; All of Lots 3 to 8, inc., in Blocl 53; All of Lots 3 to 8, inc., in Blocl 54; AH of Lots 1 to 6, inc., and Lol 8 in Block 57; All of Lots 1 to 7, inc., in Blocl 58; and All of Lots 1 to 6, inc., in Blocl 59, all as shown on Plat A of the Delta Townsite on record in the of fice of the County Recorder of Mil ard County, Utah. 3. The estimated cost of saic mprovement is limited to the cos f patrolling, maintaining, and op rating said 21 lamps and of sup lying electric energy thereto fo: period of ten years; and, as de ermined by the City Engineer o. lelta, Utah, is the sum of twelve housand six hundred dollars o hich nine thousand seventy three ollars and eighty cents ($9,073.-0) ($9,073.-0) will be raised by a special as essment as authorized by law or he property owners in said Light ng District No. 1 whose propertj is subject to such a levy, and the balance amounting to three thousand thous-and five hundred twenty six dol-ars dol-ars and twenty cents ($3,526.20) will be paid by the City of Delta ut of its general funds. The a-mount a-mount to be raised by special as essment on the taxable property owners in said district is estimatec at two cents ($0,020) per front foot per month, and the amount to be paid by the City is estimated at Twenty nine dollars and thirt ine cents ($29.39) per month. 4. All protests or objections tc he making of such improvement r to the carrying out of such in-ion in-ion of the said City Council as herein set forth must be in writing, signed by the owner of the property proper-ty affected or to be benefitted, and describing the same, together with the number of front feet thereof butting on the streets to be improved im-proved as aforesaid, and shall be iled with the City Recorder of Delta, Utah, on or before the 2 day f September, 1944. 5. The City Council of the City of Delta, Utah, at its first regular meeting thereafter, to-wit, on the 7 day of September, 1944, will consider con-sider the proposed levy and the making of such improvement, and will hear and consider all such protests and objections thereto as shall have been made.
