Show LYNNDYL . . . Mr. Alma Banks was a Salt Lake visitor this weekend. Mrs. Marie James went to Salt Lake Thursday where she met Myrleen Elliott, who came down from Willard, and they spent a few days shopping. Mrs. Atkins and daughter, Elo-ise, Elo-ise, and Vada Ivie, were Salt Lake visitors this week. M-S DeLong Banks are spending their vacation in Salt Lake City. Miss Bertha Anderson of Leamington, Leam-ington, Carolyn Simpson and Niel Fernley returned from Caliente Tuesday morning. They will remain re-main a few days and return to work for the Union Pacific. Mrs. Thelma Clark is suffering from an attack of appendicitis. ' A birthday party was given Saturday Sat-urday by Mrs. J. M. Overson, of Leamington for her son, Lewis O-verson. O-verson. Dinner was served to M-S Clyde Overson, and family, Lewis Overson and family, his sister, Gladys, and Mrs. Louise Bently of Los Angeles. The afternoon was spent visiting. Miss Lorraine Thompson returned return-ed to her home in Los Angeles on Sunday after having visited with her many friends, and relatives. M-S Reed Larsen returned from their trip to Kansas City Sunday. They reported the snow was three inches deep in Rock Springs and were glad to be back. Mrs. C. E. Simpson and daughter, Janeane, were Salt Lake yisitors Friday and Saturday. Mrs. Clead Nielson was pleasantly pleasant-ly surprised Tuesday by a visit from her parents, M-S Rodney B. Ashby, of Manti, and Mrs. Clara Crosland and son, Ralph, who is on furlough. Neva Harvey entertained the Sewing Club Thursday evening. A luncheon was served to the fol- |
